Boroondara Cares Foundation is an independent community philanthropist and an incorporated not for profit organisation. The foundation's members are the nine Rotary Clubs that meet within the boundaries of the City of Boroondara.

"To raise community awareness of the charitable needs that exist in Boroondara and provide funding support for Rotary programs and projects that address those challenges."
Our Vision
Through collaboration with Rotary Clubs, council and community organisations to continually research and promote community understanding of major challenges including -
- Homelessness
- Family Violence
- Drug abuse
- Educational disadvantage
- Social Isolation
We will
- optimise philanthropic giving from the Boroondara community to support targeted programs inside the borders of Boroondara.
- establish a volunteer and committed work-force to support planning and delivery of an enduring growth path for the resources and work of the foundation.
- work with member Rotary Clubs in support of their programs that address the identified major challenges in Boroondara.
- leverage funding for Rotary Club led and funded programs through cooperative support from other foundations and philanthropic organisations including the Rotary Foundation.
